About Kaleidoscope

The Kaleidoscope Project was originally a school Focused Youth Service funded initiative for the Mornington Peninsula, auspiced by Good Shepherd Youth and Family Service Inc, in partnership with the Mornington Peninsula Shire, local services and schools. It is currently funded throught the National Youth Suicide Prevention strategy.

The Kaleidoscope Project aims at assisting young people who are questioning their sexuality or who identify as gay, lesbian, transgender or bisexual. It aims to assist and support same sex attracted young people and their families. The Kaleidoscope Project Worker inservices staff in schools and provides direct teaching to students, offers educational talks to employees in workplaces on the Mornington Peninsula, runs a fortnightly support group for same sex attracted young people and provides resources and secondary consulation.
